Our 1st time there. They kept all the fixtures from the previous resturant that was in that space but they changed up the decor. They have a nice menu typed out and inserted in a page protector. I ordered the shrimp poboy. My husband ordered blackened porkchop. My son ordered grilled pork chop. My daughter ordered the gumbo. All the things were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Freshly made for us. The service was excellent and the other diners were very friendly. A nice neighborhood restaurant for sure. Definitely worth the trip from Crosby or Dayton.

First time customer. Staff was nice and helpful. The sweet tea is good. We went during crawfish season and the size were much larger than expected. Very impressed with the crawfish, potatoes, corn, fried pickles (crispy) with spices, boudain balls (large portions), fried catfish, shrimp, etouffee with rice, and buttered texas toast. Oh and can't forget about the kids grilled cheese and french fries. BYOB outside. Update: just had dinner there again and everything was great.

Been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile and I happened to be in the area. I’m sooooo glad I stopped!! My daughter ordered a burger & fries 10/10 I ordered 2lbs of crawfish @6.99lb with ravioli spicy and I promise they are good as hell!! Seasoned to perfection! I also ordered the chicken and sausage gumbo, and while it’s not better than mine, it was still decent!! I will definitely be back and tell everyone about them. Definitely in my top 5 for crawfish season 2025!

Stefany was our server when she kept up with our drinks after a long hot day never went thirsty! My daughter made me promise that we come here once a week now for our lunch/dinner dates! She loved everything as did I, French fries perfectly fried, my sausage and steak melted in my mouth, green beans like I’ve never tasted, & perfectly toasted fluffy crispy toast. Delicious all the way around and best customer service

WOW!! This place is REALLY good!! We started with fried pickles, which were so good. They are seasoned, thicker than most, so you can taste the pickle and the batter. Then my husband had fried catfish, cajun fries, and fried okra. I got the grilled catfish with cajun fries and fried okra.. ALL of it was seasoned extremely well. Prices are good. I think for 12.99, you get a great deal... a huge piece of fish, choice of two sides, and toast. We also got a side of etouffe that was really flavorful. The staff and service was really good as well. We sure hope this place stays around! We will definitely be back! Please go Support our Local restaurants!!

11.05.24 05:26pm early dinner service. Fast attentive welcoming host.. Greeted quickly by waitress . Ordered fried mushrooms as an appetizer. Wow, quick out the kitchen and fresh and freshly coated you can immediately tell that this is not frozen mushrooms from “frozen company”. This is fresh home coated fried mushrooms excellent !. Salad was really fresh and crisp, larger portion than anticipated for a side, and presented really nice. I had the Salisbury steak. Immediately I could see and tell that that ground beef was not a frozen patty or (????). This was fresh ground beef, hand made per order and cooked absolutely perfect. The gravy reminded me of my mom’s dark brown gravy over mashed potatoes. This meal was very filling and a really satisfying dish. My husband had the shrimp po boy dinner. Is was a satisfying enjoyable dish. We ordered the boudin balls. Ok, I’m cajun and at 68 I’ve eaten a whole lotta boudin balls. This one is the top pick. Geeeez, the breading was very lightly coated around the best boudin I’ve eaten in years. The meat to rice ratio and trinity was spot on. I would suggest this item to everyone. Ordered a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo to taste as I have several trophy’s for my gumbo. Tim, you got my friend. I really enjoyed Tim’s gumbo. Every cajun has their own gumbo and their gumbo is the best. Although I might have more trophy’s than they do, this is a great gumbo. I would like to have had a little more rice in the gumbo however. But dang dat was good. Relaxing atmosphere with cajun music playing. Not loud, just enough volume to enjoy. I am full blooded Cajun born and raised. This place right here is the real deal. It’s not just Pinots and fried g hi s or fried that, this place is for real. Rice and gravy?????? You’ll find it right here. So this was my first visit upon recommendation of a friend. I’m happy I followed up. 11.07.24 This place yall. Just got turned onto it. Just off FM1960@2100 go north it’s directly on the right. Eunice owned and operated. So, it’s not fried dis or dat neaux yall. It’s da real deal. Rice and freaking gravy. All day breakfast and of course, Eunice hospitality. Dat right der is a gazillion words. So I’m picking up to geaux some beef tips over rice. Yall tink imma be happy. Like fat belly happy. Nap happy. CajunLife “Check Out My Photos” 3.09.25 “check out photos” Dang these crawfish are da bomb. REVIEW: ok so I’ve posted on goggle as a Local Guide level 5. Here’s the latest tho, first I have of his crawfish. “SPOT ON” full blown like a real Huffman Cajun House would make. Season the WATER not THE Crawfish. I never suck commercial Crawfish heads because of many reasons. I sucked the heads and hit all the wonderful goodness yall. The corn, yup, cooked in the seasoned water. Potatoes, da same. Ok let’s talk a lil about the sausage. Geeeez laweeeez. Pork Beef 50/50. But it’s how he cooks it. He that secret to yourself Tim. The flavor is something I’ve never had in crawfish, except it is the same sausage. Or how he cooks it. That’s awesome man. Dr Pepper will be the doc. Rebecca was outstandingly attentive and available. Took an order of the boudin balls. Look, we love boudin balls. But Tim has a recipe that will change your world. Such a thin layer of breading and fantastic homemade boudin inside. Like, geaux hungry. Try several different items like Danny Ryan and I did. Such an enjoyable experience atmosphere and da food, you won’t find more authentic cajun food than this.
